splashes
I first discovered the concept of splashes in 2012 where they existed as a short, punchy message on the title screen of the video game Minecraft. I then later saw them in the title bar of the video game Terraria, where they were called "Intro Messages".
In all of this, my idea was to collect a set of provocative, memorable, and motivating phrases from the media I consume. For this reason, I don't endorse all of them, but they're still useful nonetheless. Spend some time watching them tick by, or scroll down to cheat your way through.
